Hee Haw

I'm still on a barnyard animal kick.  This burro is a regular visitor to Saline Valley, specifically the hot springs.  He and his pals are there twice a day (at least), and aren't too afraid of humans with cameras, lucky for me on our last vacation!

I combined my painting with a digital textured background provided by Pareeerica.  I like it this way, but my hubby likes it without the texture.  Whadyathink?

It's a great photo, love the composition. And the painting, he's so alive, you captured the light and his look. There's life in his face.

It is a very beautiful painting, Linda! I love your tecnique, your brush strokes! And for the backgrounds... I think that they are both lovely... above all I find very interesting that you combined your painting with a digital background! I often apply these digital textures to my photos, but this is also a great idea! Ciao! Cristina

I'm a big fan of white space but your watercolor is so strong and beautiful it can certainly handle the background texture!
